Monika Malewska, born 1991 in remote area of Poland, is a tattooist and artist.

With 11 years of experience in tattooing, she’s best known for her oneiric, surreal tattoos often described as dark mysticism. 

Even though drawing has been her primary medium for majority of life, she actively explores mediums such as writing and photography to create surreal, dreamlike landscapes of inner and outer world. Dreams, visions, beliefs serve as her main inspiration as they all speak a language of symbols and are a bridge between human mind and soul. Careful observation of the world and people allows her to ground herself in reality and has an increasing influence on her work.

Graduated from Architecture and Urban Planning in Technical University of Bialystok.

Currently lives and creates in Reykjavik, Iceland.
